Your pre-law preparation at WLC helps you achieve a competitive score on the 法律 School Admission Test (LSAT) 和 provides foundational knowledge 和 skills for success in law school.
Eligible students may take classes for three years at WLC, 和, having satisfactorily met the requirements for admission to Marquette University 法律 School, take an additional three years of classes at Marquette, graduating with both a bachelor's degree in a 主要 field of study from WLC 和 a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette - graduating earlier than typical 和 getting a jump-start on your legal career.

Your pre-law curriculum
Many of our students interested in pursuing a legal career enroll in the pre-law track of our 政治与法律 主要. 然而, there is no specific undergraduate academic 主要 that is required for entrance into law school. 相应的, pre-law students should choose a 主要 of interest to them, alongside completing an interdisciplinary set of supplemental courses that specifically focus on developing those skills noted previously that are required for success in law school. Some suggested 主要-minor combinations would include, but are not limited to, the following: business administration, 沟通, 交际艺术, 英语, environmental science, interdisciplinary studies, 历史, 哲学, 和神学.
Pre-law students at WLC will establish a curriculum plan 和 register for courses with the guidance of their 主要 academic advisor in conjunction with the pre-law faculty advisor.
